BASKETBALL STRATEGY DEBATE:
To travel or not to travel??? The GA Crush Strategy is to play the best competition possible throughout the Spring/Summer season. We always strive to qualify for a National Tournament. Some of the best tournaments (Peach State, HoopSeries) are held right here in our own backyard of Atlanta. Those tournaments draw some of the best teams in the Country to Atlanta. We're not opposed to travel and have traveled out of state many times. However, our goal is to be respectful of your financial commitment and to only travel when necessary to upgrade the competition so that our players can continue to improve their basketball and people skills.
How will my player get college exposure if you don't travel outside of Georgia? We participate in Peach State Hoops tournaments that draw over 100 DI college coaches/scouts regularly to each of their tournaments. The July 2010 Tournament held at The Summit drew over 85 College Coaches from all across the country. One of our 16U players received over 25 inquiries this past season from colleges across the country. Save your money and go on a family vacation! We know how to prep your player for college!
